Women's History Month 2020

A Note from the Effort Expert

During this time of challenge, I want to take a moment to honor the successes, grit, perseverance, determination and ambitions of women in honor of Women’s History Month. To the female global leaders; the moms and caretakers; scientists; teachers; and artists, thank you. I am thankful to be alive at a time when women are charting historical pathways, accelerating the speed of innovation, and elevating our global consciousness.

As an executive coach, nearly 95% of my clients are women in leadership across the U.S.. As a father, I am honored to participate in raising a exceptional daughter focused on a future in STEM. As a graduate student, I am committing my doctoral dissertation research to the lived experiences of women in middle management. And, as a husband, there is no role I'm more proud of than supporting and contributing to supernova that is my wife and best friend, Dr. Barbara, and her efforts in illuminating the brilliance of every child.

Amidst the wonderful stories and accounts that will shared across many platforms this month, we cannot forget to share relevant data from Catalyst and McKinsey & Company to concretized the vast spectrum of women's experiences, specifically in the workplace. Therefore, I am happy to share with you two reports for you to explore, consume, and share with those committed to learning and supporting women in the workplace.
